50 horsey related questions!

How old were you when you first started riding?: 4, but really riding at 16-17 when I started lessons with a trainer.

2. First horse ridden: Noah but first horse I have really ridden, Dandy.

3. First horse trotted on: Dandy.

4. First horse cantered on: Dandy.

5. First Horse fallen off of: Baylor.. with me and my sister, we were riding him, and he went under a tree and we were being scooted off by tree branches, so we grabbed on to the fencing... and Baylor turned his head around looking, with the look on his face saying "Hey... where did my riders go?" lol. Wait does that count for falling off?

6. Most recent horse fallen off of: I cant even remember my most recent fall, it's been awhile since I've fallen off. But Dandy, regardless of how long ago.

7. Most terrifying fall: probably my first fall.

8. First horse jumped with: I've never jumped, for real.

9. First horse who ran away with you: Once with Dandy. Which would go along with my most serious fall, but not even that fall was my most terrifying, I had too much adrenaline pumping to be scared. He was running so fast, to get back to his barn of course, when he turned into the driveway, I literally came unglued from my saddle and went over his right shoulder, managed to flip so when I fell I landed on my back. The worst of my injury was 3 or 4 abrasions on my back, and a slightly crunched helmet. Thankfully that's it for injuries.

10. First horse that scared the crap out of you: Kaa Daya.

11. First horse shown: I've never shown.

12. First horse to win a class with: I've never won.

13. Do you/have you taken lessons: Yup.

14. First horse you ever rode bareback: Noah.

15. First horse trail ridden with: Tootie Fruitie.

16. Current Barn name: Who? me or my horse?? here, I'll answer both, Kim and Dandy. That my horses and my barn names.. lol.

32. Ever cantered bareback?: Yes.

41. Have you ever ridden at night?: Yes.

42. Do you watch horsey television shows?: Of course!

43. Have you ever been seriously hurt/injured from a fall?: No.

Though once, my horse went down to roll, and I heard "BAIL!" so I got off at the perfect time. He's only tried that a couple (no more than 3 times), a long time ago. He's finally gotten over it. He doesn't even try anymore, with me bareback.

The good ol days.

These are the good ol days. When it was August, the end summer. And no snow. This is Callie riding my Dandy. And these were also the good ol days because the computer would upload my pictures. Now, I don't know how to upload my pictures. As I'd like to upload pictures, I think I ought to try uploading my pictures on someone else's computer to see if I can upload pictures that way, and then add them here or send them to my e-mail.

Anyways, enjoy the pictures of good ol days! and don't worry! very soon the good ol days will soon return!

Biscuit look alike.

From the time I was 2 to 11, my family and I had a Golden Retriever mix, named Biscuit, my sister and I's (or my?) favorite dog we have ever had. We called her "the best dog in the world" and were very sad when we lost her 6 years ago. Anyways, to get to the subject name... My sister took me to go trim some people's goat hooves in Monroe today, and we went on a wrong path on a 'Y' road and knocked on a door to find out I got the wrong house, and the people there told me how to get to the right house. Anyways, as we were getting ready to get back in the car, there was a female dog named Molly, who looked just like our Biscuit. When we petted her and looked at her, all we could see was our Biscuit. From her coats color, to the texture of her coat, a soft silky top coat, with a thick fuzzy undercoat. Her eyes, her face, even her old doggie teeth, looked like Biscuit's (the dog was 13). Even the way the dog acted, so friendly, putting her self right next to us so we could pet her. It was amazing to us, we could not believe how much it felt like reuniting with an old pet. We wanted to take her home and spend lots of time with this dog. But I don't think those friendly folks would have liked that, haha... :)

One of my favorite riders, and horses.

I can tell the announcer is choking up, reading that.

I'd love to be able to ride like her!
