Okay you need to put more information with the horse pics... Like what horse is it etc. :)

This is Dandy, the Arabian gelding. But he is located in Dixie, close to Walla Walla WA. I'd like to buy him, but I am not 100% sure I have found anyone to pick him up and board him for me. And Ardell, the lady who owns him right now, really wants me to get him, because he really likes me, and I really like him. He's completely up to date on all shots, and all of that. And he is just as sweet as a horse can get. He's fully of kisses :)

I thought I was talking to someone who would board him, and she said she has a trailer, but when I told her he is located in dixie, and asked her if she could pick him up, or let us borrow her trailer, I did not get a response back. But maybe she has been busy.. so I am thinking of e-mailing her again.

The gas alone will probably break the deal. That is one expensive trip to go there and back. We've gone over the pass before, not as far as Yakima and it still cost us $325 in gas pulling a light two horse.

Keep trying though.

Where are you traveling from. I've been over the pass and back and didn't spend $100 on fuel. When we went in January to the mini convention in Pasco the total bill for fuel was $150, that's much father than Walla Walla.

RR I bet you have a deisel truck huh. They get much better gas mileage. We have a regular fueled truck and when we went gas was over $3 a gallon. The price would be less now, but it'd still be pricey for someone to do it for free.

What she needs to do is find someone who's over there and it coming this direction with an empty space in thier trailer. I can't afford it right now or I'd help her.

Oh, well I was hoping that me and my mom would go with to pick up Dandy, and keep the tank of gas from going empty. So it wouldn't cost anyone any money to pick him up, just time. It would just cost my mom and I money.

I was never looking for anything free, or to cost other people money, or try to make it unfair for who ever would like to help me. I hope no one is assuming I am trying to scam them, or trying to be unfair. I am actually trying to be as fair as possible...

Anyway, Ardell has lowered his price from 1000, to 900. He comes with TONS of tack. It's all included in his price. So I am really amazed, because I would imagine all of Dandy's tack costing over a thousand in cash. He has several saddles, he use to do lots of shows in the showring, like, dressage, and so on. He also use to go in the mountains and carry elk or deer meat. But he is not fit for that now, which I would like to get him exercising, so he can be fit, and healthy. He's a bit of a "fatboy" right now, lol. Anyways, I really would like your help, since I know y'all better than anyone else I be talkin' to.

But that is a good idea, LOC, to find someone heading from Walla Walla, or maybe even past Walla Walla, that could pick him up on their way, and would be heading this way.

Anyways, would today work for you at all? and if so, what time. Like 4:00?
or would the 8th of Sept at 4:00, work for you better? let me know when I can come over to trim those goaties! :)

You wouldn't happen to be going to , or close to, Walla Walla, in the close future would you, RR??

she'd like him moved before November rolls around, as she'd like to have the space for breeding her goats, especially since she has one buck, Zilgen, and her friend is going to be bringing another buck for breeding. And she doesn't have as many separation pens as you do, Chaos. And she needs to move around her animals, but has no where to put Dandy, and he would be in the way of all the breeding and what not.

Kim, I never meant to imply that you were trying to scam anyone or take advantage of them at all! I know you wouldn't do that.

Well, I didn't think you'd think that, but, maybe other people might think that. I am definitely going to be lucky if I do find some who could haul him for me, because of how many miles it is, it's like, 300 miles from there, to my house. But it is such a beautiful drive, and like, there is this place on the way to Dandy's location, with like 7 yaks, and like, the babies are sooo cute! one of them is like, younger/smaller than Jacob, she is such a cute yak. I never really realized how cute and fuzzy baby yaks are. When I got these pics of Dandy, I now wish I would of thought to take pictures of the yaks. Definitely some cool yaks. And these ones were really docile too. And the buck yak, was even docile. Definitely the opposite of your buck Prince :)

Anyways... it's way past my bed time =O

I do have a diesel truck. Right now it's laid up with a leak in the brake line somewhere. I don't usually go across the mountains much. I am a whimp ever since my rig broke down and I spent 8 hours stranded in the pass.

Isn't there a website where you can post you're looking for a haul? I think I was told about it once just can't remember the name of it but maybe some searches on the web might bring it up.
